Task Description: Today in Extension we had a talk with what a controversial topic was and through out some ideas. Me and my groups main focus was umpires and referees. Stuff like "how are they picked to umpire/ref Olympic games? " and also things like " how do you know they aren't biased?"
We have just went over what the umpire/refs job was and what they are meant to be doing. We also covered what types of sports they ref. Take a look at our slides to see what their job really is, and some facts about them. We are going to be adding on so stay tuned for that.

ReplyDeleteI think the performance of umpires is always a hot topic in sport when teams and coaches think the final result is unfair. In your opinion, what qualities are needed to be a high quality umpire?
