A MOON MYTH

WALT: make connections across a range of texts

Task Description: This was my weekly literacy task. It was a Maori myth about a lady named Rona and she didn't watch her mouth and got pulled into the sky and stayed with the Moon. Enjoy my slide show.

  2. Kia ora Jane,
Great job on the storyboard for our story this week about Rona and for sorting out the word groups in the short excerpt from Moon Story by Patricia Grace. Reading the text out loud and recording yourself is a great way to help you read smoothly! I liked your choice of WORTHY WORDS - conjoined, coordinated, vilified and centuries and look forward to seeing you use some of them in your next piece of writing! Keep up the great work Jane!
